Local Area Details Eating out: There are several nice pubs in Lamberhurst its a 5 minute walk into the village. There are several country pubs which serve excellent food, THE BROWN TROUT & THE SWAN are on the Green, a 15 minute walk and are especially recommended and 3 miles away at Cousley Wood is the VINE again serving excellent food and cater for children.
Local Attractions: There are many interesting places to visit in the vicinity BEWL WATER, LAMBERHURST VINEYARD and SCOTNEY CASTLE are only 10 minutes away. CHARTWELL the home of Winston Churchill is 30 minutes drive. If you have a car SISSINGHURST CASTLE, HEVER CASTLE, SQUERRYES COURT, IGHTHAM MOTE, KNOLE, EMMETTS GARDENS, Bedgebury National Pinetum are easy journeys. More great places of interest are Batemans, Bodiam Castle, Smallhythe Place, and Stoneacre.
