Restored and modernized farmhouse in a rural area at the southern end of the Iveragh peninsula, just outside of the picturesque fishing village of Portmagee.

The cottage is on an elevated location overlooking Portmagee harbor, and enjoys fine views of the highest mountains in Ireland--Macgillicuddy's Reeks--as well as the surrounding countryside.

A protected beach is a few minutes' walk down the lane from the cottage. Portmagee has two pubs with restaurants, a foodstore and a bakery.

The house has three bedrooms which sleep six, and an extra bedroom with a single bed is available upon request.. The interior features the original wood floors and country-style pine woodwork throughout. The living room has fireplace (peat provided), and the walled-in yard is well-suited for children.
