| Overview | [ Top ] | [ Bottom ] |
 | Coed Talon is situated in the delightful coastal village of Llwyngwril on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park. The village is just a few miles from Tywyn to the South and Fairbourne to the north.
The house is within easy walking distance of all local amenities, which include tearooms, craft gallery, and public house. Here we offer a beautiful setting for quiet relaxation or an ideal base for exploring the surrounding mountains and coastal attractions of Mid Wales and the Snowdonia National Park.
If you want to leave the car behind for a day, there are numerous walks in and around the village to take you into the hills for spectacular views over Cardigan Bay and across to Bardsey Island. Alternatively there are many beautiful walks within a short drive.
For the less energetic, take a stroll to the pebble beach, where dolphins can be seen during the summer, and later watch the sunset over the sea. Other beaches can be found nearby at Tywyn, Fairbourne, Barmouth and Aberdovey.
There are also many interesting places to visit, all within easy reach. These include historic castles, narrow gauge railways and gold and slate mines.
Sea and freshwater fishing, pony trekking and bike hire are available locally. | | We can offer a choice of no smoking accommodation, all of which have a TV and DVD player, hairdryer, clock radio and tea and coffee making facilities.
The Garden room is a double bedroom with shower room situated on the ground floor, which has access to the garden via a patio door.
Upstairs we have the Bardsey room, a second double bedroom, which overlooks the front of the house. It has an en-suite shower room and sea views.
Also upstairs we have Llwyn Ddu, a twin room, which has views over the hills behind the property and has an adjacent bathroom with separate shower and bath. | | The spacious conservatory is a place to spend quality time with friends and family at any time of the day. Relax in a comfy chair, read the newspaper, books or magazines, play cards or perhaps complete a jigsaw.
Alternatively enjoy afternoon tea or coffee on return from a day’s activities.
Visitors are also welcome to enjoy sitting in the garden if preferred. | | If you visit us by car, we have private off road parking. A regular bus service is available within easy reach. Should you wish to travel by train, Llwyngwril also has a railway station and with prior arrangement we would be happy to collect you. |
